Questions

Getting started

Which leads should I tag?

Cold leads you've stopped working and wouldn't get to anyway. Start with 10 to 20, see how the conversations go, then add more.

Do I have to do anything day to day?

No. Tag the leads you want worked and watch for handoff emails. That's it.

Does this cost anything?

No. The beta is free and needs no card. If I end the free beta, I'll email you at least 30 days before. Nothing is charged unless you choose a paid plan and enter your payment details yourself.

Is this allowed by my brokerage?

Check with your broker first. Every email includes your name, brokerage and the business mailing address you give at signup, and says it comes from your AI assistant. You know your brokerage's rules on outside tools better than I do.

What Flozit does

Will it email leads I'm already working?

Only if they're tagged Flozit On. Before you call or email a tagged lead yourself, remove the tag and Flozit stops right away.

Will Flozit email anyone I didn't choose?

No. It only emails leads you tag Flozit On in Follow Up Boss. It skips active, closed and past clients, anyone tagged Do Not Contact, DNC or do-not-email, anyone Follow Up Boss marks unsubscribed, and contacts like lenders, vendors and other agents.

What happens when a lead is ready to talk?

Your AI assistant sends the lead one short reply saying you'll follow up. You get an email with a short summary of the conversation and why the lead is ready, plus a note and a call task in Follow Up Boss. Then Flozit stops emailing that lead, so it's yours from there.

Does Flozit call or text my leads?

No. Flozit only sends emails, from your own Gmail address. It never calls or texts your leads. When a lead is ready to talk, the call is yours: you get a call task in Follow Up Boss with their details.

What if a lead asks to stop?

Flozit stops emailing them for good, tags them flozit-opted-out in Follow Up Boss and lets you know.

What if the AI says something wrong to one of my leads?

AI can make mistakes, so I built checks around it. Before any email Alex writes goes out, Flozit checks it for details that aren't in your notes or the conversation, for phone numbers, links, addresses and prices the lead didn't give, and for common wording about schools, safety, home values, mortgages, taxes or legal advice. If a lead asks about any of those, Alex doesn't answer and hands the question to you. Every email also lands in your Sent folder, so you can read exactly what went out. If anything looks off, tell me and I'll fix it.

Will my leads know the emails come from an AI assistant?

Yes. Every email says it comes from your AI assistant, and it never claims to be a person. I built it that way on purpose.

Your Gmail

Is it safe to click Go to flozit.com (unsafe)?

Google uses the word unsafe for any app it hasn't reviewed yet, whatever the app does. Flozit is my company, Flozit LLC in Tennessee, and you can disconnect it at any time from your Google Account.

What can Flozit do in my Gmail?

Google lists this permission as read, compose and send emails, because that's the Gmail permission Flozit needs to see your leads' replies and label the threads it starts. Here's what Flozit actually does with it: it sends emails as you to the leads you tag Flozit On, looks at who new emails are from to spot their replies, and reads only the emails between you and those leads, including your own sent emails to them, so it never emails someone you're already talking to. If a send may not have gone out, it also looks at who your recent sent emails went to. It doesn't read or keep anything else.

Will these emails show in my Gmail?

Yes. Every email goes from your own Gmail and shows in your Sent folder, and replies come to your inbox as usual.

Could this hurt my Gmail account?

Flozit sends up to 15 first emails and follow-ups a day, up to 10 check-ins on quiet conversations, and replies to leads who write back. It only sends between 7:30am and 8pm in your time zone, any day of the week except major holidays. That keeps your account well within normal use. I built it to follow Google's sending rules as of October 2026. Google sets those rules and has the final say.

What happens if I disconnect in Google?

Flozit stops sending and pauses your account. Disconnecting doesn't delete your Flozit account or data. To have it deleted, email me at support@flozit.com. To start again, sign in at app.flozit.com and click Connect Gmail again, using the same Gmail account. You'll go through the same Google screens as the first time.

Your data and Follow Up Boss

Is it safe to give Flozit my Follow Up Boss API key?

Yes. An API key is a password made for one app, so Flozit never learns your Follow Up Boss password. I store your key encrypted. Flozit uses it to read the leads you tag and to add its notes, tags and call tasks, and it never changes your stages, contact details or action plans. You can turn it off any time by deleting the key in Follow Up Boss, and Flozit can't send another email after that.

What does Flozit change in my Follow Up Boss?

It adds its own tags, notes and call tasks, and one Flozit Instructions & Support contact. It never changes stages, contact details or your action plans.

Does anyone at Flozit read my emails?

Not as a routine. I may read a conversation to check quality or fix a problem, and my review tools log every time. Copies of the alerts and handoff emails Flozit sends you, which can quote a lead's reply, also sit in Flozit's own mailbox for up to about 4 months.

Does Flozit keep copies of my emails?

While Flozit is working a lead, it keeps short snippets of the emails, a summary of your notes, and copies of its alerts and handoff emails. It deletes that text 90 days after it stops working the lead, and never keeps it more than a year. It keeps the full text of an email it writes only until the email is sent. I never sell your data or use it to train AI.

What happens to my data if I leave?

Within 30 days after your account ends, I delete your leads' information from Flozit. I keep your basic account details unless you ask me to delete them, the record of what you agreed to at signup, and a coded version of the email addresses of leads who asked to stop. It can't be read as an email address. It only lets Flozit recognize that address later, so someone who said stop never gets an email from Flozit again. I also keep daily totals, such as how many emails were sent and how many leads replied. They contain no names, email addresses or message text. Once your data is deleted, nothing links them to you.
